I ask then, did God reject his people?  May it never be!

Rom. 11:1(a)

Beit Shalom Ministry

Greetings to you in the mighty name of Yeshua the Messiah.

Blankets for the Widows

Blankets for the Widows

On 27th July, 1987 I had a vision that Yeshua is the Jewish Messiah, but I did not believe it. I had the same vision in 1989. I studied the Bible immensely and confirmed it to be correct, and ever since then I am close to Messiah from a Jewish perspective.
We believe Yeshua is the Messiah and I have strengthened in this faith believing that we grow more through him spiritually according to Romans chapter-11, and in 1990 I started Messianic congregations, and according to Psalm 122:6-9 praying for the good of Jerusalem and are now following the festivals celebrated by the forefathers. The first festival we celebrated was Hannukha and since then following and celebrating all the biblical festivals.

Our Needs

  • Clothing for the orphans

  • Funds to purchase school supplies for the orphans

  • Supplying daily meals for the widows and orphans

  • Blankets and warm clothing for the winter months

  • Biblical teaching materials - tapes, books etc.

We would truly appreciate your prayers and if the Lord is speaking to you about assisting us in any way, then we would be blessed to hear from you.

Beit Shalom Ministry now has 3 Messianic congregations in 3 of the surrounding villages and although there are difficulties, we are utilising our services for Him.
We started 'Hadassah Orphange' to care for the children that we find in the rains, markets and the railway station in a very miserable condition. We feed them twice a day send them to school, provide them clothing and covering and pay their medical bills but many times we fail to feed them and give them shelter for our resources are very limited.

We have succeeded in sending our orphans to school and some have now entered into the upper classes. We were also able, by the grace of God, to purchase their school books. We are still in need of more clothes but we know that the Lord in His mercy will provide.

Beit Shalom Ministry also has a home for the widows.
According to prevailing Indian culture, both young and old women follow certain traditions like wearing colour sarees, wearing ornaments around their necks, wearing flowers and bangles etc. etc. But when their husband dies for any reason, she is called a 'widow' and prevented to wear such traditional customs and the society ill-treats and feel unlucky when these widows come near them.
We are looking after them and providing them with food and shelter.
At the moment our living accomodation is simple huts which don't afford much protection from the monsoon rains and storms. We are believing the Lord for more permanent buildings for the orphans and widows.
