Nyansakai Light Worship Sanctuary
Our Congregation Building
The Nyansakai Light Worship Sanctuary was started four years ago and took its name from the Jewish Messiah being the Light. So God spoke to me over having some light in our community for people to know that he can be the light in the darkness - thus 'True Light Sanctuary' and Nyansakai is just the name of our village.
The Nyansakai Light Worship Sanctuary is an indepent ministry here in Kenya, currently with more than 200 members. It is led by me, Pastor Henry Oigo Okenda. I am married to Hellen Bonareri Ombongi and we are blessed with one son Morgan and one daugther Linda. They are with me in the ministry.
Our Needs
- The expansion of the already existing home for the orphans (Hope For Orphans Centre Nyansakia) with currently 66 children who are undernourished and need a lot of help
- Steady supply of food for the orphans
- Portable Generators for the orphanage lights
- Sports equipment for the children
- Used clothing and shoes for the children and the congregation
- Medical and nutritional care for the community
- Sound system equipment
- Roof for our congregation building
- Pastor's support so that he can access the congregation and the members with ease
- Bibles in the Ekegusii language
- Rehabilitation centre for the Adicts of drugs and those moraly abused like the young girls of Africa

Since salvation is of the Jews (John. 4:22), we are praying daily for Israel and the salvation of her people.
The Lord commissioned his disciples to proclaim the gospel to every nation (Mark 16:15-16) and to attend to every spiritual need of all the believers in the congregation (John 21:15-17) we pray that the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit will enable us to fullfill this commission as we continue to reach and expand our vision as outlined below, having a heart for the people as the main object of our mission work.

Our Vision
- Praying blessings for the nation of Israel
- To provide Pastor's teaching/seminarys
- To provide guidance and councelling to our societies that have been ruined by Satan
- To care for the orphans
- Church planting
- To provide clinical services for our society that has no hospital to treat the sick. This has caused a lot of death from the killer diseases like malaria, thus leaving behind many orphans
- A ministry school for the poor who are not able to afford education and those that need work skills for them to have hope for tommorow
- To provide clean water for the village by drilling wells
- To provide constant food supply for the orphans who are dying of famine
- Seeing our congregation grow

Our ministry work is based in the village of Nyansakia near the city of Kisii in Western Kenya, close to the border with both Tanzania and Uganda.
We have recorded a great tremendeous glorious increase in our congregation and seek your prayers for support and help towards this fast growing work that is soon reaching Tanzania and Uganda - thus covering the whole of the eastern part of Africa. Our congregation is tagged "Congregation in the Move to Glory".
A personal prayer request
My brother recently sustained serious injuries that led to his total disability. His spinal cord was broken, he lost some of his teeth, and one of his legs was impaired so that he cannot walk. He is totaly disabled now, and we need help to pay the bills before losing our home and land.
Please pray that the Lord would enable us to continue to help my brother with his medical needs and that, although we have already lost our personal belongings to auction, we would be able to pay the rest of his medical debts.
